What Does a Typical Day at Palo Alto Camp Look Like?
Each day at camp follows a fun and balanced schedule designed to keep kids active, creative, and engaged from start to finish.
9:00 – 9:20 am — Welcome Circle & Warm-Up
We start the morning with a group check-in, light icebreaker games, stretching, an introduction to the day’s theme, and a quick review of safety guidelines.
9:20 – 10:30 am — Sport Block 1 (Main Focus Sport)
Each day highlights one main sport. Kids work on skill-based drills and enjoy team play.
10:30 – 10:45 am — Snack Break & Hydration
Campers enjoy a light snack and refill their water bottles before getting back into action.
10:45 – 12:00 pm — Sport Block 2: Mini Games & Tournaments
Small-group games and friendly competitions help campers practice the skills they learned earlier in the morning.
12:00 – 1:00 pm — Lunch Break & Chill Zone
Campers have a supervised lunch followed by quiet indoor activities such as board games, storytelling, or simple art projects.
1:00 – 2:00 pm — Creative & Mind Enrichment
Afternoons include rotating activities like arts and crafts, dance, chess, yoga, team challenges, & other fun activities.
2:00 – 3:00 pm — Sport Block 3: Rotation Sport
Kids rotate to a different sport each day
3:00 – 3:30 pm — Snack & Cool-Down
Campers enjoy a light refreshment, hydrate, and regroup for a relaxed reflection circle.
3:30 – 4:00 pm — Camp Wrap-Up & Team Showcase
We end the day with group highlights, fun awards, challenge results, mini showcases, or a quick sports quiz. Pick-up is at 4:00 pm.
